Hello Parents
We have various parent engagement activities throughout the year. We've partnered with various different associations like Collaborative for Children, Texas Rising Star to name a few, to provide assistance and take home tools to help parents. We believe parents are their children's first teacher and the learning process starts at home.
Celebrating Birthdays is one of our favorite things to do. Parents can bring cupcakes, treat bags and decorations to share in the fun with their child's friends. We also book parties at the center for a fee. Please contact us for more information.

Below are a list of events we host throughout the year: February, Annual Parent Appreciation Dinner
May, Muffins with Mom
June, Donuts with Dad
August, Back to School
October, Fall Festival
November, Thanksgiving Dinner with students
December, Christmas Party
Safety is Our Top Priority
Safety should always come first!
We understand that safety should always come first when it comes to child care.
We provide before and after school care to school age kids with state of the art transportation with a back seat camera system.
Children are transported in the required child safety seats.
We ensure each of our teachers undergoes a background check before getting hired.
We ensure our teacher to child ratios are in compliance.
We perform daily indoor and outdoor safety checklist.
Arrival and Departure
Transportation – We offer transportation to and from school. Buses leave at 7:10 am Monday – Friday.

We understand that the start and end of the day can be hectic for parents. That's why we have streamlined our arrival and departure procedures to make drop-off and pick-up as smooth as possible.
Comfortable Clothing
We are curriculum based and we encourage students to wear uniforms. Monday - Friday we wear a polo shirt and pants. Fridays are Spirit Friday's, that's when we all wear or Starkids logo t-shirts. Wearing a uniform creates cohesion, provides easy mornings for parents and students, and promotes a sense of community and inclusivity.
Holidays Observed
We observe the following holidays:
New Years, MLK Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Nutritious Meals
We provide 5 nutritious meals.
We are a “Nut-Free” center. Any foods brought in to the center for events are required to be nut free. Please contact the center for any questions you may have.

We believe that a healthy diet is essential for a child's growth and development. That's why we provide nutritious meals for your child during their stay at StarKids.
